Why We Write Each Flue Up on Its Own

A tenant notices smoke. An owner notices a line on an inspection report. A family clearing out a parent's house notices nothing at all, until the buyer's agent asks about the fireplace. Pinegrove Chimney Experts works from Culver City for that second and third reader: the person who answers for a chimney without living next to it.

So every flue gets its own entry. It lists the inspection level, what was cleaned, dated photos of the cap, crown, damper and firebox, and a plain line on whether the fireplace is fit to use. A fourplex with four fireplaces gets four entries, filed under the street address and the unit number.
